On top of releasing its tracklist, too.
As assiduous as they come, Tory Lanez has emerged as one of the preeminent and prolific MCs in hip-hop today. The Toronto native has three studio albums under his belt, 17 mixtapes, 60 music videos, and 38 official singles — oh, can’t forget that one EP, International Fargo, too. Staying true to this reputation, Tory’s announced his upcoming mixtape, Chixtape 5, today by releasing its premiere single, “Jerry Sprunger” featuring T-Pain.
With a vivacious instrumental, Tory and T-Pain blend seamlessly not only into the soundscape, but almost each other’s flows. Not necessarily sounding exactly alike, their styles sound like shades of each other’s voices, making for a cohesive entity that snowballs throughout.
In addition to releasing Chixtape 5’s debut single, Tory also revealed the tracklist — a skit-heavy offering reminiscent of his debut album, I Told You.
