New Track: Fashawn “Diamonds & Girls” ft K-Young

Fashawn has got to be one of the most heavily slept on rappers in the game. After dropping a stellar and criminally underrated album earlier this year in The Ecology, Fashawn returns with "100 Bars." "100 Bars" is a five minute freestyle from Fashawn -- finding the rapper going off on Jay Z's 1996 classic "Coming of Age" from Jigga's watershed debut album, Reasonable Doubt. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise for seasoned rap fans who've watched and listened to Fashawn over the years -- not to mention his killer freestyle on Showoff Radio. Fashawn will also be embarking upon a European tour, which kicks off tonight! Check the dates of Fashawn's tour and "100 Bars" after the jump.

Fashawn is continuing his monumental rollout for his forthcoming album The Ecology (due out February 24th) and after having already shared "Guess Who's Back" and most recently "Out the Trunk" he is sharing the heavyweight featured cut "Something to Believe In." And by heavyweight we mean one of the all-time rap greats, Nasir Jones. In addition, Aloe Blacc makes an appearance and the track is produced by the always excellent DJ Khalil. Fashawn's highly anticipated forthcoming project The Ecology gets a huge collaborative track in "Golden State of Mind". Call it a West Coast connection as Fashawn teams up with Dom Kennedy and Exile for a smooth, chill cut. Unfortunately The Ecology won't drop until 2015 but it'll be appearing on Nas' Mass Appeal compilation. After the jump.
