Dave East Comes Through With A Two-Single Offering, ‘Survival Pacc’

Harlem’s own Dave East is an interesting representative of his hip-hop generation. A true-blooded New Yorker, East’s style borrows influence from the greats that walked the Big Apple streets before him — like labelmate, Nas — as he’s a ferocious rapper with engaging content. However, he’s also collaborated extensively with newer-wave artists, like Offset, BlocBoy JB, Moneybagg Yo, and plenty more.

Today, he comes through with a two-single offering, Survival Pacc, that is emblematic of his diplomatic place in hip-hop by linking with Gunna on “Everyday” and “Wanna Be A G” with Max B.
