Akon “Konvicted” Again

      Akon is ready to double up on his hustle with a new release. The Konvict Muzik CEO will re-release his double platinum-selling album, Konvicted, on August 28. But don’t think Kon is about to sell you the same product twice; the re-issue gets a makeover with two new tracks—“Sorry, Blame it on Me” and “Rush.” The latter features new Konvict Muzik signee, Kardinal Offishall, and will appear in the upcoming movie Rush Hour 3.

      The DVD portion includes a documentary about Akon’s recent visit to the motherland—Senegal to be exact. It will also feature music videos for “Smack That” (do we really need to see that crap again?), “I Wanna Love You,” and “Don’t Matter.”
