No strangers to speaking on the adolescent hardships they’ve overcome, Polo and Tjay use “First Place” to paint a dualistic picture: they talk on the pain they’ve transcended, which has led to their wins.
“First Place” marks their first joint track since their wildly popular 2019 single, “Pop Out,” which reached top-10 on Billboard.
