8 Questions With iHipHop: How Much Has Eminem Matured On MMLP2?

Dan: What’s your take on the Kendrick-assisted “Love Game?
Drew: I think Eminem did some things with 50s rock samples on this album that were admirable because they upped the tempo and gave him some flexibility to vary his flows, and this was one of them. But I didn’t care for the subject matter too much as it seems like Kim-to-Marshall is also Sherane-to-Kendrick, a proxy female figure upon which they can unload all of their misplaced resentment toward one group of people. They both rhyme the words well, anyway.

Ew, don’t watch the video from Brenda, it’s virus!
Oh come on DrewBreez, the album is great. It’s not perfect, but to say it got uneven marks is just wrong. From what I know, most other sources laud the effort!
Hi Dan, I like Headlights as well. I think it’s the best song out of this album.
It is interesting how you see Eminem fans as traditionalist. But I guess I do agree with you.
I do hope that MMLP2 is not his last album. I very much enjoy Eminem’s music!
I think that Dre and Eminem will work together again and soon. Let’s not read too much into it.
