The week’s drawing to a close, the weekend’s on the horizon, so it’s time to enjoy all of today’s new hot releases. For this week’s “New Music Friday,” we’ve got releases from some of today’s biggest stars — burgeoning and established, alike — including Gucci Mane, Lil Nas X, B.o.B., and Trina; we also have singles from The Game, Rick Ross, and more.

Gucci kicks things off with his 13th studio album, Delusions of Grandeur. A loaded 18-track offering, Wop’s latest LP shows how the influential trap star is one of the most respected industry figures given the decorated featured artist list. From Justin Bieber to Young Dolph, from Rick Ross to Lil Baby, stars old and new come out to lend a hand to everyone’s favorite Wopster.

While some thought he would just be a one-hit wonder with “Old Town Road,” Lil Nas X is intent on controlling the narrative by releasing his eclectic debut EP, 7. Fittingly seven-tracks long, 7 is a diverse soundscape that trends as much towards rock as it does trap, as much towards country as it does grunge. It proves that Lil Nas X isn’t a clickbait rapper, a bait-and-switch artist, nor an industry plant; it shows how he’s a true artist, looking to sow his musical oats.

B.o.B. and Trina also delivered albums today, Southmatic and The One, respectively.

On the single front, The Game, Rick Ross, Comethazine, and Nicki Minaj have all come through with fresh heat.
